SometimesA Poem by Altona pseudo-song of mine that stopped me from getting to sleep last night -- hopefully those lost hours were worth the trouble.
Sometimes my yesterdays
swirl together inside stormy weather and I'd die to Feel the sun- rise Sometimes I look and see my todays slippin' through my fingertips --wish I'd live before the sun- sets And sometimes my tomorrows were just dreams of mine, long forgotten and I breathe in the sun- shine Other times, my days grow long and my brother pushes me onwards --a chainlink fence made of moon-- light Other times, my days feel short and I hear my sister, though I don't know her voice -- a street light full of absence Sometimes my days dissapear and I wonder how the hell I wound up here -- a fire side filled with silence
