Drop in the Ocean

Drop in the Ocean

A Poem by Alton

 Drips and drops

Words and thoughts

Run and walk

Through ripples we talk

The flow, it cannot stop.

From clouds to ground

Each know the sound

When what's liquid and round

Collide, smash, and pound

With whatever their path has found.

Cyclical infinity is our fate

No drop in the ocean is a mistake

Never too early or too late

Permanance, a cohesive state

The soul of a drop lives to wait,

Dying to evaporate.

Bonded, united, yet free

Phases between sky and sea

No seperations of you and me

We are an interconnected entity

Waves and rolls of energy.
