A story within lyricsA Poem by Billie Atterberryletting go of past painLet the blood fall down upon my skin
As I watch my death slowly begin The pain in my chest And the shakiness I have felt it all before Take this needle into the skin Let the dose overflow again Slowly i fade in the darkness Slowly I fade again
I’m standing there Frozen in time I can't believe my teary eyes How could you do this to me
I never meant For any of this I never meant To make you hurt like this I never meant to leave You standing alone
Here I am Watching them In total disbelief How could you leave me
I’m trying hard To make it back But I think that breath was my last I’m sorry that i left Left you like this
They say you’re gone But you’re in my mind They say it was Your time But you’re still haunting me Yeah you’re still haunting me
Little girl don’t you see I was never what you need It’s time for you to move on From a life so wrong.......
As time goes on and start to move on the past is a blur but
as you were, here i am alone again but this time I am ok shall we go on with a
new story of a new day.........
Walking in the shadows Watching every move I see how much you've grown I'm so proud of you
I wonder if your even there If you’re still with me I stop the addiction I wonder if you can see
My dear child you don't see That IM watching happily That you have not turn out like me
I look up to look for you But no longer do I cling to you I feel my life become my own I wonder if you see I’ve grown
I watch over you every day And I’m more than happy to say Your exactly who you should be If only you could see
.................................................. As the years go on the bad starts to fade i begin to see who
i am in every way........
I am free from the pain I have found my own way I know you watch over me But mom its ok I believe in me......
I knew you would My sweet loving girl And one day you Will show the whole world
