insomnia

insomnia

A Poem by solitare

it feels deeply
through the roots
that i want to be alone
as i am
delving in my being
yet i crave constantly
another
the nurturing comfort love
entwining with another
i push away
any attachment
and dive into solitude
unknowingly
as i plead for intervention
for another
for love
for comfort
yet peaceful somewhat
in my awkward loneliness
awaiting a figure unannounced
to wish uninvited
i giggle at my immaturity
but dont expect its reality
covered in mosaiced blankets
watching romancing stars
falling as i fantasize
and indulge imagination
till i smirk and sojourn
to slumberless spheres of solitude
