Moon Prayer

Moon Prayer

A Poem by solitare

as full moon rising
i sedate with claret
and sprinkle outside my crystals
to rebirth their energies
then sit bewitched in its beaming
surrendering to my powerlessness
whilst merciless solitary aching
ignites beneath this luminescence
while i care not I do
and fantasize the visage of him
evadingly i focus on footsteps outside
dancing in their journey
and ponder at their unknowingness
too bewildered to contemplate
their walk beneath the vast lunar sphere
i seek refuge under my tribal quilt
awaiting serenity in the new moon
assured my amorous prayers
will be celestially blessed
as full moon rising
