Let other pens dwell on guilt and misery.

Let other pens dwell on guilt and misery.

A Poem by Lia
"

Good lord, I haven't written a poem in ages. Especially since this ridiculous site deleted all my work. This has absolutely no resemblance to any of my old work. Not even remotely.

"

Tell you?
I have nothing more to say.
There's not enough life left in me.
The heart which you so painfully tore no longer has the strength to beat.
I often reminisce.
I remember everything.
Every moment, every kiss, every footstep, every wish,
Every promise, every lie, every lecture, every cry.
And I never remember anything.
Do you see me?
If so, tell me what you see.
I'd love to know.
It's not as if I could answer myself.
You've been with more people than pages in the bible.
Or so you said yourself.
I didn't care that you abandonded me.
What hurts beyond compare: I'd still die for you.
