Is it ok to call you SEXY?

Is it ok to call you SEXY?

A Story by soliloquy

Should I do this?

Is it ok?

Will I offend you?

Will you go away?

When I call you SEXY

Some are ok with this

They are even tickled

Some might want to know more

Will this put me in a pickle?

Am I really...... SEXY?   Is it true?

Is making this comment to a person offensive?

Is it something I should say?

Does it offend you?

Will you go away?

"Sexy" feels more like the emphasis is on a physical level. I don't think its offensive. It IS nice to think a man thinks you are sexy. I guess if you take an encounter further you end up also wanting to hear that you are a beautiful person, inside and out, because thats on a deeper level. But being sexy isn't bad or offensive. Sexy is playful and less intimate.

Thank you for your thoughts. I agree with what you say since it makes sense.

I can remember when I was much younger I was introduced to a friends Sister. She had big b***s and it was a real effort on my part not to reach out and grab them. Then, I said 'My word, you are so sexy!' That got me a slap round my face. So much for being restrained!

If it is coming from a friend or a someone I am close to, then it is not offensive. But when someone I barely know says it, it makes me roll my eyes. I think you need to know your audience before you say it. I've had a few people send me PM's and all they say is "Hi sexy", I don't bother replying. That statement says, "I'm here to flirt and that's it", that's not why I'm here. If the PM comes with a sincere message and the person says "Oh and you look sexy", I wouldn't be as offended but I would let them know that I don't want to be called that, especially if they wish to continue to speak to me. Hope that helps.

I think if it's a man you've known for a while, and you're in a relationship or thinking about starting one, then I think it's acceptable. If it's a random guy you've just met at a bar, and he's drunk and drooling all over you, then no that's not acceptable. It's disgusting.
Hope this helps! xx

Well I know it really isn't offensive but some women just want to be called beautiful. I once read something that had a dozen comments listed like Pretty, Beautiful, Gorgeous, and Sexy with the way a woman sees it next to each. Each person is different in the way they interpret the meaning. I know by my opinion sexy kind of sounds like a guy is only looking at the body and not the face and the personality. Whereas beautiful sounds like a guy is looking at everything and saying there is something genuine about her. But, yeah, every woman sees each word differently and interprets them in different ways, just have to know the person to know which would be more appropriate.
