Apocalypse

Apocalypse

A Poem by Rayne
"

An interesting definition of the word apocalypse . . . .

"

Soaring on black wings from the land of fire

She comes to us bearing tidings

Tidings of truth that none wish to hear

She speaks of darkness and light

The great war, God and the Devil

Angels and Demons

 Heaven and Hell

Then she speaks that dread word

That word that mankind believes will spell our doom

She see's the panic on our faces

She smiles at this and says "I can see the fear in your eyes, I can hear your hearts pounding, why panic at this word?  Is it that you fear what you don't understand?

Or is it that you believe you understand what you truly don't?

Do you believe such a word spells your end?

It doesn't spell thy doom

 But a begining of truth

 The brides veil is lifted

 Great mysteries unmasked

Life, death, and rebirth

 The new dawn!

 Humanity reborn in truth!"
