A Date in ToyoA Poem by pana kunMeltingBeneath the pacified droplets, my pale fingers
unearth a dwelling in clover Burrowing, Milky rabbits into your easeful hands Pillowy buds and palm leaves pulsing limpid
dewdrops This diner’s love note pockets helpings from
twinkling, tropical oceans And inside my felicity’s space Stains of pomegranate cushioning the apples of
my cheeks, the wax of my lip balm Two cups of water poured under a summertide
moon Along chestnut pots, restaurant’s buttermilk
puffs Your tan skin gently blooming, interlacing the
golden candlelight My heartbeat sails apace with your warmth, Your velvety breaths trot and compass my sweet
murmurs I think this brown noise is painted in beads
of honey, Sensitively vibrating with the whispers of the
dyads Folklores pose themselves In circulating cookeries, tart dishes in oak
wood plates Squeeze my hand in tempo with the pendulum
clock We knot small pouches of knowledge Of sea salt, fish, juniper herbs Caramel ice cream Nestled into the powdery starlight, Philosophies flowered in my heart I lightly tug on your gray polo sleeve And plant my delight, like sprouting tea
olives Deeply Into the delicate warmth of your skin © 2024 pana kun |
