Dreams In ApricotA Poem by pana kunA rosy nap in snowfieldsPink pocket watch, held upon the
kindled oil of my fingers Sing to me a willowing pixie’s fleeting
opus of cotton puddles and pillowy lanterns Velvety crystal slumber, i swallow fruitless clouds of Neptune Burrowing the lilac ether of snow and ice whilst frosted peaches and rabbits doze As strawberry wine lips whisper of pocketed oceans Translucent numbers, painted by moonlight I ask, “when shall the blankets of the sapphire sky, whisper the fables of elderly trees?” The final winter leaf sinks Curious bunnies Prince’s eyes of raindrop blue Light blossoms hum the lonely harp’s heart ♪ Fairies float, ballerinas weep by the glittering Arctic lakes ♫ And now I send my letter to the boy with silken hair of starlight and irises of gentle ghosts, whilst my tears find home in porcelain seafoam Glowing eyelashes gently sleep on plump rosebud cheeks © 2024 pana kun |
