Breakable

Breakable

A Poem by soccerqueenty
"

This is a poem I wrote when I was weak based on what I thought it felt like. I feel like this poem relates to a lot of people who are sad, but no one seems to notice.

"

Breakable

That’s what she is

She breaks

Physically

mentally

Broken

Barely repairable

But who cares right?
She’s happy

Look she’s smiling

But darling

Can’t you see

the red in her eyes

the tremble in her smile

how her eyes don’t sparkle

The way they should

Like before

Darling she’s breakable

Every broken bone

Every responsibility

She’s breaking

Little by little

But the cracks build

And soon she will be gone

But darling don’t worry

Because she’s ‘smiling’
