Our StoryA Poem by C.C. MarxWow it's been a long time hasn't it? Excuse my rustiness, but inspiration struck. Young love is quite a doozy now isn't it?
I found a story in you
One told with entwined hands And broken pieces Capturing affection In it's purest form Only to be engulfed by Disappointment and disbelief One can't Just simply describe you An enigma, a puzzle A self-proclaimed open book Yet remaining under lock and key Our pages have now run out But the memories stay Bounded between the covers I'll always remember the feeling Of your arms holding me close But I also won't forget The tears shed with you in mind I could never erase you God knows I've tried © 2014 C.C.
