Summer Days

Summer Days

A Poem by C.C. Marx
"

just a little something :)

"

Soft footprints on the beach

Fading from the nearing tide

Frothing waves pound the shore

The surf engulfs my feet

Rhythmic ripples

Sing softly as we walk

In the crook of your shoulder

My head did lie

Peaceful and calm

Hands entwined

Great poem! I love the adjectives and verbs you used in this poem :) they are so well chosen and eloquent. The theme is great and made me long for summer again! Keep writing!
