Mean GirlsA Poem by C.C. Marxfor a contest, i tried. Love that movieThey are real Picture perfect Pink is blinding They earn those coveted candy canes.
You envy them Yet they tear you down Whether it be truth or lies Their burn book tells all.
One girl tried to change The reign of the queen She plotted against And undercover she went.
Soon enough The damage was done The queen overthrown A new ruler was on the rise.
The girl took her power She abused it Her actions tainted By the girl she had become.
She swore she wouldn’t change She would stay loyal She would stay honest But power changes all those who obtain it.
