A Poem by C.C. Marx
"

this about a girl i always tried so hard to be friends with

"
Innocence was evident
or so I thought
Your personality was atrocious
You always targeted me
Were you jealous?
I'll never know
Not since when we switched roles.

You were losing your battles
But i fought hard
You were being replaced
By the loser you tried to erase.
While you try to get your feet of the ground
I will be flying high.

Life is going to pass you by
If you spend all your days wondering why
No said life was ever going to be easy
But the thing is
I will never try to hurt you like you hurt me.
