Ask and Listen

Its how I feel about people sometimes.

What you want me to do is not that hard,

but what I ask you to do is not that simple.

You want me to hear you...

I ask you to listen.

You want me to learn...

I ask you to teach.

You want me to pay attention...

I ask for your attention.

You want me to do so many things

and all I ask is WHY??

I can't hear you if you don't listen.

I can't learn if you don't teach me.

And I can't pay attention

when you don't give me your attention.

So do me a favor... next time you ask for something,

listen to me first!

This is something most guys have trouble with. We are hard headed. If you are able to talk a certain way, we are basically forced to listen. You just have to know the language we listen to. It's complicated. If a girl was able to talk to me a certain way, I'd listen. Its like a love language kinda thing I think. Idk it's weird. But I feel your pain and I'm sorry on behalf of all guys.
