Crowd Shepherd

Crowd Shepherd

A Poem by soady
"

A song about singing.

"

When I walk up to the stage

I like it quiet.

My rhymes are peaceful,

There's no harm meant.

I open my mouth,

Lips wetten with saliva.

My tongue is red

And my teeth are white.

I am like an angel

Resting on a cloud,

With my pretty little crowd

All quiet and sound.

Only then will I start

To sing songs about

Sweetness and joy

And how we should all

Just get along.

Is it possible?

I need to know.

Tell me.

Tell me.

Tell me!

I don't know!

Tell me...

Collection of the stories

Written in my head

Slowly unveils,

Becoming insane.

I have never asked for

Anything from you.

You're hiding your emotions

And I just see them through.

Masses all obsessed with my figurine.

Shining eyes of fortune becoming clean.

Twisted, slick ideas now face decay.

I am just a figure, a roll for you to play.
