Chapter 2 - Jordon
A Chapter by Alexis Joy
Jordon Trent adjusted his cranberry red tie. He admired his clean shave, wrinkle-free clothes, and his perfect dark brown hair.
Tonight was the night. The night where nothing could afford to go wrong-- his family's annual gala. It was a massive party; white tablecloths and chairs, golden chandeliers, interesting drinks as if he would ever have one. Jordon's family was the elegant type.
Jordon flexed his muscles in the mirror after his shower to build up his confidence. Dang, I look sexy, he thought. Jordon was not one for being in the presence of the lower class, or the lower class being in his presence, for that matter.
"Jordon! Let's go!" his mother shouted with her voice dripping of irritation. "Don't get too upset, there's no need to cause wrinkles," Mrs. Trent muttered.
When the Trent family arrived, everyone split up to go welcome guests or socialize.
Jordon smirked. "Let's go knock their socks off."
