Till' The Last Moon Rises

Till' The Last Moon Rises

A Poem by Scott S
"

A tale of lust and longing.

"

Solitary thoughts held deep inside
Ink of night- my mind awash
Images- a face pure and true
Shines bright in the miles ahead
A passioned breath so far away
Holds my heart a willing captive
Your unfelt touch - sensuous mind
Hold me- hold me till’ the last moon rises
Willing partners- words cry out for more
Space and time cannot forestall
River of want that flows in my heart
And drowns my soul with your nectar sweet
Days march on and dawns do break
Unwavering- we stand firm and true
Miles behind and miles to go
Companions- till’ the last moon rises

A beautiful poem displaying wonderful feelings. ' Companions- till' the last moon rises ' ... those words capture the very essence of affection, love, whatever the emotion.

A very deep and sentimental poem Scott, very nicely done indeed. Blessings, Carl
