Serene

Serene

A Poem by Scott S
"

My contest entry for Helena's Blue Rose Cafe

"
Love like sweet perfume
Splendid in it's libidinous presence
Turn this sultry heart to glass
That could be shattered in a breath
Two lips so serene
Purer
Than a rain drenched sky
Beget
Oblivion of cares
In God's merciful union

What a great expression of feeling. I loved the last line most, "Oblivious of cares In God's merciful union." Fantastic. Hope you do well in the contest.

Scott this is one beautiful poem. You are correct in leaving it just as. You wrote it from the heart and not just for 'contest rules'. Our next contest coming up shortly.....glad to have you on board and hope you enjoy our Blue Rose group for many years to come!

Kind regards
Helena :)
