I want to protest

Distrust

Tears swell in my chest

They never help
They are no use

I don’t want help
I’ll be fine

What’s in my mind
But if they see
There’s no choice for me

Distrust

They can’t look in
They’ll never know

Lying low

I’ll let them see

They can’t protest

Aflame at night
