Dark

Dark

A Chapter by Snits

Dark, white? No, just chocolate. Just sweet.

Few chocolate in a world smothered white.

Dark is now milk, is it worth it to fight.

Posing as others to make their lives full.

White chocolate attacks like a raging bull.

Walking the streets wondering of what might.

Movements so cautious like death were in sight.

Still chocolate no matter the break or pull,

and yet we walk tall, so proud and so sweet.

Flavors don’t matter is what they may say.

It’s what’s inside that makes us this way, and

though we are strong our tears may be beat.

This dark wrapper we live within and pray.

Our souls guide us through this tablet so bland.

About
I walk as a lonely shadow among the hustle of the city street. Amidst the shoes and wheels I sway. My dark outline follows the thousands of footsteps etched into the road. Leaving a story with.. more..
