A Blank Page

A Blank Page

A Poem by Snits

In a world full of stories and plotlines of many

The words in this rhythm are no short of plenty

With a climax so great and an ending so strong

Each sentence and phrase seems to flow like a song

The beat of each syllable and the note of each noun

Keeps your mind forever dancing to an uplifting sound

One could almost imagine the small ball bouncing along from syllable to syllable, from word to word, from line to line. From there, one could imagine going from the end to the beginning through the end to the beginning again. There was a flow here, describing well the words that could transform a blank page into a work of art that would carry our minds along...

I walk as a lonely shadow among the hustle of the city street. Amidst the shoes and wheels I sway. My dark outline follows the thousands of footsteps etched into the road. Leaving a story with.. more..
