Whorls

A Poem by Kirke Nix
"

You are mine.

"
Whorls

DMT 8/19/07

I embrace you
My bittersweet smell
And suspended condensation
Curl and float upwards
Into your eyesnosemouth
I caress you, your skin
Red and flushed
Your sweat tastes of
Gold
On my manipulative tongue
Andandand
My smile
Like smoke
Curls in a corner
Lopsided
Unoriginal
Foolish
But secretly
Webothseeknowandtouch
The malice like ice
Melts with your warmth
A puddle, heart shaped, won
Rebuilds itself lower
Reflective
Sleek
Frozen
And dangerous
Your fire
Makes my smoke curl
Upwards
And overwhelms you
Taste the fog
As it blinds you-
You-
You are mine.

This is a really cool poem. The images swirling around are fanominal. It has an awesome darkness to it as well. You have a great choice of words and have used your skill wonderfully.

Great poem!!!!
