Here, have a glimpse into my mind

As all the memories rewind

Stop.

       Look.

              Feel.

That exact moment my world fell apart

It created a gaping hole in my heart

The pain is still so raw and real

A wound no amount of time can heal

I lost a part of me that day

And now the darkness is here to stay

See what I saw, feel what I felt

Can you deal with what I dealt?

This is just one horrid memory

The scar it left is not temporary

There's so much more I want to show you

All the damage, black and blue

Can you handle it?

Can you handle me?

No? So just let me be...

No one can understand what we go through inside unless they go through the same pain we have to go through... Our inside is so different than any other person so only we know what pain we have and what scars are left within us... Very thought provoking write...
