Memories

Memories

A Poem by Snehal Ahire

Got no pictures in my wallet

Only memories in my mind

Walked away from your doorstep

Without bitter goodbye or any single wept

Come out of your shell come out of the darkness

In bright sunshine on the road ahead

Got no fear in my core

My heart is just little sore

But many things left to see

I suffered, I fought

Till last breath of “us”

That’s why

When I will be gray and old

I won’t wonder why I didn’t loved you

I won’t have any picture with me

But I’ll have enough memories to make me smile.
