InsideA Poem by Wendy Sue
Do you see my insides?
Can you see my soul? What shows on the surface, life can take it's toll. I've looked young I've looked old Fat, thin, pretty, ugly, rested and tired. I'm still in here The same me Longing for someone to know me, ask me, love me, hold me when I'm sad and lonely And let me fly when I have wings. Can you see me? © 2018 Wendy SueReviews
