VacancyA Poem by Wendy Sue
Herein lies a vacancy,
in which there is no sign. When has someone lived there? I can't remember the last time. The curb appeal is stunning. Manicured, is the lawn. I hear the lease is long term, likely why more aren't drawn. You can peek inside a moment, just to get a glance. Most get tired of waiting, to meet the owner just by chance. She says she wants it rented, that doesn't seem to be the case. How's it possible to fill a vacancy, from an owner you have to chase? © 2018 Wendy SueAuthor's Note
