Lyrical Parfait

Lyrical Parfait

A Poem by Stefon Napier

Show them a way.

A bit of some practical sympathy.

For the lost soul on the park bench in the city.

Can you give them the last hope that you have?

Somehow your going astray

They said give them a poem then they'll all float away.

Far away from living life, living on on your lyrical parfaits.

Damn, thats not the way to win the light.

I'm just trying to write to get right.

Scrape a few words.

Make a petition.

Tell them how you plan to admit it.

Explain to them your that good, you said life in four stanzas.

Dreams are flavorful instabilities

Reality might bite them with futility or just give them a bit more creativity.

Like when I write this, people will either view it or tune it.

Can you give me the last hope that you have?

Either you'll say goddamn he did it, or say that he gave you sun dried raisins instead of sprinkles.
