Nosey Parker

Nosey Parker

A Poem by snakesy_monkey

Such a Nosey Parker

Why don't you get your nose away from my face

Concern yourself with your own life

And take your nose off my garden gate

There's more to life than concerning yourself

with what I do

Haven't you got a much more interesting life

than constantly looking over at me and comparing me to you

You're putting your expectations and being judgemental

about how I live my life

But my life is no concern of yours

You should concentrate on yourself, on your own children

and your voluptuous Polish wife

You're such a Nosey Parker

that you can't really see what is in front of you

stop interferring with my life

and find pleasure in what you do.
