I learnt to know that you were a control freak

And you made me realise that I was one to

We have never been like all the others

And never wished to be

 

If I say what my thoughts are

You used to understand what I meant

But I no longer know what I mean

 

I've got to find out about myself

Know what I really think and feel

I've got to know what makes me happy

And what makes me feel fulfilled

I need some time out

 

I can't help loving you

Is just not enough

 

We used to be ready to conquer the world together

But I have to do it alone now

We were once ready to make our dreams come true together

And live in our own world
