UnpublishedA Poem by Samir Cbecause you get to a point where you're not sure what is what.
UNPUBLISHED
I have grown desperate Realizing life is here, it is time To make bullshit a daily routine Bullshit before I could avoid But now it's for breakfast, daily bread The bullshit tucks you in at night Am I not entitled to a decision? To choose the age of innocence, Over monthly bills and the commute? Allow me a chance, to grow And do not yet ask me who I am What little I know, I expose An open book for you to read In a script I am yet to understand Please, describe me to myself Sign your name in my pages And write your chapter, like my mother A hard worker, honest living Or my bullshit father I'd give the world for Those are stories worth telling I need this time, to wait For the day I am free Of expectations, forein pressures When I will need no co-author When my book will be shut And my eyes can speak for me © 2016 Samir C |
