Empty Moments

I sit in a cold dark garage

  Listening intently

For someone that's not here.

 

Just an abandoned space

  Another foresaken day

Among empty moments.

 

There's nothing to do

  Only listen to my thoughts

They are as drained as I feel.

 

I am lonely

  No one can help me

I am lost within myself

 

In a hollow space

  Trying to get out

But, I can't find my way.

Reading this poem, one gets the feeling of mourning a love one, who suddenly left your life. The depression, which grips a person during this time of grieving. Noone can help you except yourself to pull of it. A hard struggle, which there is no easy solution to. Just hope that time allows for a degree of healing to go on with life.
