The DeclineA Poem by smurfett
The world is slowing crumbling
The walls have been knocked down Where once we stood united Is no longer solid ground. Chaos, racism and lack of trust Just to name a few Drugs, violence and infidelity Does any of this sound like you? We've created a mess and lost our way Our patience has grown so thin To this we need to rectify But where do we begin? Our hearts are cold, our tempers hot So quick to start a fight It didn't use to be like this We use to love with all our might. I can't be the only one That thinks we need to change Together a difference can be made If we choose to rearrange.
