The Reflection

Ever look into the mirror

And not recognize what you see?

I'm not the person I once was

Staring back at me.

Who was I then, who am I now?

When did things so change?

Somewhere long ago

My life completely rearranged.

I've loved I've lost

I've lived I've died

Given and taken

Laughed and cried.

I'm traveling a path God chose for me

Until recently I wasn't sure how.

But the strength that I feel as I go down this road

I'll never give up--this I vow.

I'm stronger than this, I have faith in myself

I know with His love I'll endure.

To guide me through chaos and keep me from harm

And forever my heart remain pure.
