God's 3-Gs

Sometimes my thoughts they wander

How can He love me so?

He hears the whispers within my heart

And knows I strive to grow.

To love another as He loves me

This task I'll never perfect

But to have Generosity, Grace and Gratitude

It's something from me He expects.

Generosity--the quality of being kind

Understanding in every way

To not be selfish, to give to others

That's what He would say.

Grace--it's not just a woman's name

It's love and mercy given to us by God

Imagine if we all loved each other this way

Does that concept seem all that odd?

Last but not least, Gratitude is a must

And yet the hardest I think of the three

The quality of being thankful

Not just to Him, but everyone we see.

These traits they don't come easy

Much harder than your A B C's

Strive to strengthen your bond with Him

And you too can live by God's three Gs.
