L.I.F.E

When you think of Life, what comes to mind

Is it stress, trouble & debt?

It's always the things at the top of the list

The things you'd much rather forget.

Life is a journey, or so we are told

It's filled with ups & downs.

There's moments that will put a big smile on your face

And there's moments you'll wear a big frown.

There's a community of people that's spreading like fire

They see things in a different light.

They focus on making their lives more meaningful

And they strive to put what's wrong right.

Their outlook is good, their outlook is bright

Cloudy days does not impede their view.

They'd much rather see the good in all things

It's not hard, it's quite easy to do.

So when someone asks "what's Life mean to you?"

You can stand up tall and say

Living Intentionally For Excellence in each and every way!!

Smurfet, I always do at least three comments when someone takes the time to read my work so once again I have stopped by. I chose this one because I have wrote a poem with the same title (Have A read at it) so I was Interested. Like I said before your style is to keep things simple and straight forward old fashioned rhyme-I prefer that to the new modern (although some do it quite well here) you made me smile today and I want to thank you for that.
