The Time Has ComeA Poem by smurfett
Don't ask me how I'm doing today
It's been apparent for years you don't care. I've grown quite accustom to your sarcastic ways With your cold heart and emotionless stares. I've known for a while what's important to you There's no mistake it's not me anymore. It's hard to be faithful and loyal to one When what you constantly seek is a w***e. Who am I upset with, who do I blame? Did I do something wrong again? My head and my heart, they continue to fight But there's no doubt that you're more than just friends. I won't continue to live this way anymore I "can't" left the building long ago. It's time to do what's right for me If it means walking away, then I'll go. Just remember this, keep one thing in mind When you think back on how we once were, The love that we shared just wasn't enough Not to keep you from running to her. Do I wish you the best? No, I'm sorry I don't My blessings got lost along the way, My house will soon be a home once again Because now--there's nothing left to say.
