A Poem by Godwin Snow

Standing in a motel

Tainted with an ashen smell

I inhale and smile

I’ve been wandering for a while

I don’t think I’m lost or anything

Rather I’m ready for everything

To hell with maps and guides and roads

I’m content to make the whole world my home.
