Waterbottle

Waterbottle

A Poem by smon

Is this the shape that you would take
I play the waterbottle with my feet

It's warm to touch and at this height
I'm quite content I am quite quite

I shrink down to its size, now half
And half again not half so fast

Inside the waterbottle rubber grooves
I felt the heat scorch through my shoes

I walk along the tightrope stripes
It's hot to touch and at this height

I'm drawn towards the bottleneck
I've tasted hell heart race for heck

The plastic plug is quite a feat
Is this the shape that you would take

I asked myself my hands did turn
Unwind the cap and feel the burn

It's warm to touch and at this height
I'm quite content I am quite quite
