Trial and Error

Trial and Error

A Poem by Joe Butler

can't live in this beautiful day,
too many thoughts gone array,
don't believe but i still pray,
hoping that i still may,
come out of this world alive,
from adversity I'll still strive,
for the top, be the head of my hive,
throw out the rules, on my own I'll thrive,
In this life that we find final,
from these problems that I'll find minor,
lyrics don't break just crack like china.
life's like an apple just find a shiner,
give me the facts and I'll tell you with time or,
enough space i can throw out a rocket,
like a pocket full of lockets,
soothes your throat to make you sock it,
clocks still running tick tick tock it,

if I had someone to keep me censored,
I'd say things like i wasn't meant to,
life's a b***h and then you die,
i just hope my b***h is up for a fight,
and that aint meant to sound misogynistic,
my words just flow back and forth like a watch from a mystic,
