WISDOM

I was asked to write a poem..using the words in italics

·                            WISDOM

·                             

·                            Acquiring Wisdom is not a cake walk

·                            A life rustic gets it earlier

·                            Never allow fascinations to taint

·                            Your thankfulness for the life’s gifts

·                            How wiry may life’s scenes appear

·                            Never try to justify or criticize

·                            The only dialect that wisdom accepts

·                            Is that of  a constitution built by love

·                            Never use flattery to yourself to hide defects

·                            Wisdom seems so small as starlight

·                            But sunlight never shines it

·                            It shines on its own  

·                            It pours its shine irrespective of dawn and dusk

Takes a long life to really know wisdom. When I was a young boy. We held great respect for our elders. They have lived a long life and could tell you story of success and failure. We need to listen to the old one's. Some wisdom should be easy. Respect people as you would want to be respected. If nothing good to say. Say nothing. Words can burn the heart and mind forever spoken in anger. Better to walk away then say words we will regret. Your words are true. The sun will shine on a wise and good life. Anger and regret will leave wishing for better endings. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

Amazing work, piecing these words in flawlessly.. Wisdom used to be sought after like gold; now it seems like a fleeting thought that can't compete with technology and pleasure. I appreciate you shining a light on it once again.. how it's needed more than ever.
