Wrote for a contest

A TOUGH BOOK

Abuse me never
short little girl cried
roaring sea forgot to roar

Birth is a curse
stubborn madness cried
changing world froze its changes

Moral world is lazy
screeched the blindness in youth
Right specs gave way to blurred specs

World is a tough book

Scripts are not easy to fathom

Rapid world evades me rapidly

The poet wrote like this

The priest nodded in agreement

Darkness stood in between them

This made the book tougher than ever

I don't think the poem is very clear, but I have a sense of it's purpose. I think the single phrases at the end are more clear than the beginning. Sometimes words that sound good when read, can be obscured in meaning.

yea i agree this world is definately down the tubes but can also be turned into a blessing when we look at the bigger script around us this great design this portrate of marble this planet full of beauty by the master artist whom created everything :)

i agree with you..world is really a tough book of lies,happiness but sometimes harassment..

I've never been great at interpreting poems when they have so much symbolism or just underlined meanings, maybe you could explain to me what this was about?
