Wrote this following a prompt… That every line should begin with W… For a contest

Withering

 

What caused withering?

When did it begin?

While searching for the reason

Weathered memories blast upon me

Warmth of love you poured in.

Whistle in my ears in contempt

Weeping in the darkness..

Wearing this invisible mourning dress

Why does my heart dream of a resurrection?

While asking sincerely, you have conveyed a warmth here that is heartfelt. Some good thoughts, a direct and succinct poetic plea; your heart seems to long for the answer. Well stated. I wrote a poem once where I used all "Ys", here you use the "W", yours came out better. I like these lines, very interesting and imaginative write.
