ALONE IN LOVEA Poem by JENYFor a contestALONE IN LOVE Alone I sit on the middle stair... Shocked by the news That whistled from the depth of my heart That I am in love.. Alone I sit on the sea shore.. Shocked by the awareness.. That I used to deny often.. That I can fall in love Alone I walk in the campus Shocked by the fact.. That I always deemed as fictitious.. That love can affect my exam grades.. Alone I walk in library Shocked by the discovery of … That unmatched with logics I trusted.. That a mind in love can not read science Alone I genuflect before Jesus Shocked by the truth That I never knew before.. That a mind in love can not recite prayers Alone I brood over Shakespeare Shocked by what he once declared stoically.. That I never believed earlier.. That a man in love is a mad man!!! Confess the imbroglio I am in… Confess the madness I am in.. Confess the embroilment I am caught in.. He smiles, he laughs.. He embraces me, kisses me.. In that charm I forget my imbroglio I dive deeper, violently Into the Shakespearean madness Until reality around me fades.. “You can never move against nature.. Moving against nature… Is the only madness…” He whispers…!!!! Desperately I stood as a witness Of a dissolution of our madness Into one single madness.. As if nobody can divide it Into two… © 2010 JENYReviews
