SEE MY TEARS

 

 

Fascinated me..

Responded to my needs

Insured me against insecurities

Ensured his presence in need

Never am I lonely

Dear friend I love you

 

Found myself in the mirror you are

Reflection of me talked the truth I am

Inspired by that I grew in dimensions

Even universities fail to recognize and exhort

No mother can guide and direct me

Dear friend, into the world you opened for me.

 

For a long time I sat

Reading the saga of our friendship

Immersed in wonder of your love for me

Embracing the security I felt even in your absence

Nodding to the prick of conscience all time

Doubting if I gave you what you deserve as my friend….

 

 

Friendship day came…

Repeats itself monotonously every year..

I am here, ask me what you want

Everything that I possess is a gift for you

Never ever shall I claim as mine except this love

Dear friend, for you…for you only..

See my tears….!!

This is a very well structured acrostic. It truly "spells out" (no pun intended) the sentiments and the train of thought of a true friendship. Any friend would love to read such a poem.
The only thing that might detract a bit are the letters coloured red, but I can see them used for effect.
Besides that, he line, "Even universities fail to recognize and exhort", is a bit weak in my opinion.
