to catch a Burd

to catch a Burd

A Poem by Burdcatcher

I wait as she makes her moves/some right some wrong/to watch the Burd hurt itself/but I can do nothing/all I can do is watch/she is wild and free/perfect beautiful and free/none can cage her/to tame her would be only to dream/a close night encounter/early morning rise/ the Burd flys away into another nest/not mine, but one day, mine.
