Mother Nature and all her raw beauty and power.

Her blood flows through the rivers 

Her heart pumps fire within her 

When someone above doesn't treat her right

She isn't going down without a fight 

Her anger will blow off mountain tops 

Her tears will fall like rain drops 

All she wants is love and appreciation  

But people don't see her as an obligation 

They litter the ground with waste 

Do they forget the land she's graced? 

Without her there would be no life

She could kill all without using a knife

But she doesn't give in to the hate

After all, she is and always will be great

Great piece and a fantastic reminder about the beautiful planet we live on and the responsibility we all have to nurture it, as it has nurtured us for generations.
