when I look at you

For my baby boy. Mommy will always love you.

When I look at you I am whole.
For my heart you have stole.
Little eyes with a precious nose.
My love for you goes.
Beyond my lifetime on this planet.
Your smile is my sunset.
Those tiny hands tug my heart.
Nine months I've loved you from the start.
I look at you and wonder who.
You will be when you are two.
When you become a little boy
Still feeling my life with joy.
My teenage boy you'll someday be.
I hope that you will always love your mommy.
And when you think you've found the one.
I will make sure she loves my son.
6 months old your still so small.
I will always be here to pick you up when you fall.
