the golden gate

the golden gate

A Poem by mmmbacon
"

life. living in fear. hate , and moving on from all of it. <3

"

even with the music blaring loud as can be

i can still hear the tearing of my heart at it's seems.

and they say every scar has a reason for being

is it also true the reasons arent meant for seeing ?

im growing learning, finding out fast

how much your mistakes really bite you in the a*s

shake it, break it,

 down like a dancer.

honestly i have been waiting,

praying for answers

tell me who- what- when- where- how- and why.

everyone around here is afraid of the sky

 the beyond places

life could bring you

and the person you could be if

 you ever just tried to.

 but no everyone here,

hides from the tears,

in fear that they too

will quickly disapear.

digging in the social scene,

trying to fit the clique

doing almost anything just to be the "it."

 never change for people ,

 never change or alter

if you try, you'll always fail

and end up the defaulter.

you'll never live up to the expectation,

you'll blend in, lost in this messy nation

you have a choice, quickly pick it

if you dont,

consider yourself another statisic

pick up your nine, with your life on the line

tell you're moms you'll be back, n your doing just fine

crime is the life that you've learned to live,

screwing up everything you ever had to give

your life will be procrastinated

greatest will be assastinated

you'll land your a*s in drugs and hate

i call it stupid i call it fake.

but you call it life, its the gangster fate.

i guess i wont see you at the golden gate.
